≪PurevsurenTerauchi Nature Conservation Activities≫

The lifespan of a golden eagle is about 15 years old. At the age of 10, golden eagles are released into the wild while they are still capable of breeding, find a partner, and breed in the Altai Mountains.
Health management during the breeding period, measurement of height and weight, grasping the growth situation such as food, and confirming the number of individuals by attaching leg rings. By conducting comparative research on wild golden eagles in Bayan-Ulgii and golden eagles kept by falconers, ornithologists and plebslen will work together to protect the environment. In 2002, the Mongolian Golden Eagle Association was established, and 360 eagles have been confirmed to have been protected and bred to date.
≪PurevsurenTerauchi≫ collects feathers from when they are chicks, from falconry to the time they are released into the wild.
A falconer records the date, time and part of the eagle feathers that shed naturally, which regrows once a year, and stores them carefully.

Without hurting the Golden Eagle,

Collect only the fallen feathers.
